$PLUG Update Wave A completed at the $2.68 target and price has bounced since then. It now appears to be working on Wave B, with a measured move up toward $3.69 (potential double top / lower high area). If it reaches that zone, it could set up for the final Wave C lower. Still watching how this develops. What’s your take on PLUG right now?

$BABA This one popped up on my screener today. It’s also a name we regularly cover in our weekend video updates. Price is approaching its original uptrend line at $106, the same level that previously led to 64% and 85% rallies. If $106 holds and catches bids, a move back toward $190 would be roughly a 78% rally from current levels. On the 4H, Velocity has broken above the 200DMA, similar to what we saw with Bitcoin right before its bounce from 59k. This is the type of setup that allows you to get positioned early, before the broader crowd catches on. $106 is the key level to hold. Above $120, we could see a strong squeeze higher. Lately, every time the market has a red day like today, we’ve seen a sharp V-shaped reversal the next day. This has happened repeatedly since we bottomed in March. Unless we’re in a full-blown free fall crash, these red days have consistently been opportunities rather than something to fear. This behavior is conditioning retail to buy every dip without hesitation. This kind of pattern can’t last forever. At some point, one of these dips won’t get bought up aggressively,and that’s when we could see a more meaningful move lower. That’s my current view.

Quick heads up: Tomorrow I’m taking my kid swimming and won’t be around until the evening, so I won’t be posting any setups during the day. I’ll be back in the evening and will catch up then. Appreciate you guys understanding!

End of day thought: Markets turned red today and most names pulled back further. Based on the setups I’ve been sharing, I see these dips more as opportunities than something to fear. In the past, moves like this haven’t tended to last very long. How are you guys handling days like today?

If the whole market is dropping and your stock is dropping too, that’s usually not a major concern. The divergence worth watching is when the market is rallying but your stock is still going down. That’s often a sign of relative weakness that’s worth investigating.

RSI and MACD can both show divergence, but that’s not why I use Velocity. With Velocity, I can draw trendlines on momentum, watch it reclaim structure, and spot hidden momentum improving, even when price still looks weak. I can’t do that nearly as cleanly with RSI or MACD. That’s the real edge for me.
