@KaijuIncredible @0_0n0b @the_Bradster007 I wouldn’t necessarily call that proof, it’s a YouTuber proposing the idea. You can just as easily find stuff on the web about the BCD Trinity of Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Doctor Strange.

@KaijuIncredible @0_0n0b @the_Bradster007 Yeah I think Carol would just highlight the fact the MCU is exploring more space and going cosmic. But even then both Carol and Steve are characters of a different era of the Earth and are both military so I’d argue they share more similarities.

@LastManWhoStand @0_0n0b @the_Bradster007 True but, the OG trinity didn’t follow this plan. Iron man was the tech guy like Black Panther, Thor was a bit mystical like Strange but it kind of falls apart with Cap America. He’s not cosmic at all like Cap Marvel?

@0_0n0b @KaijuIncredible @the_Bradster007 I mean Spiderman probably will always be Marvel’s biggest character, and his films in the MCU have been the most successful outside of The Avengers ones. But I’m just speaking strictly for a Trio setup I don’t see him fitting better here. Makes no sense when he’s higher up too.

@KaijuIncredible @the_Bradster007 T’Challa is mystical in terms of connecting to an ancestral realm. He doesn’t understand the mechanisms of magic, or perform spells. Stephen does fill that role. So no it’s not interchangeable. T’Challa also is a scientific genius and king of the most technological nation

@KaijuIncredible @the_Bradster007 Doesn’t tackle the aspect of the BCD trio all being leading figures in certain fields. Black Panther/T’Challa is a king and has been shown to lead the Avengers into battle. Doctor Strange is pretty much the protector of the planet and guards it, Carol has a similar role in space

Spiderman is more popular but they have a higher ranking and role in-universe

A better statement would be “The character was controversial” but the movie did make an impact and there’s people who did enjoy it, despite the heavy vocal ones who didn’t

@juliandceu @the_Bradster007 Exactly what I’ve been saying, they all got an expertise in a certain field. T’Challa is the tactical and scientific mind, Carol has knowledge of Space/The Cosmos, and Stephen has knowledge of Magic, and keeps tabs on any potential threat to the planet.

Strange is the guy that oversees the wellbeing of the planet and keeps tabs on anyone he deems can be a potential threat while Peter is worried about his social life.

@MysticalMe337 Can't we talk about how Ultimate Doctor Strange was totally wasted? They could do something different with the character, but they just killed him off in Ultimatum. I liked that this Strange was more of a novice and naive than his father, who was kinda the real Sorcerer Supreme.

Aesthetically & Thematically, Carol would have worked as the Starbrand given it’s a cosmic role, and aesthetically it’s in line with her abilities. Addition would of mainly been to attach her to a legacy that spans all the way back to the BCE era alongside T’Challa & Stephen
