If you sell a skin on a marketplace most likely the marketplace will be forced to hold your money in escrow for at least 7 days until the trade protection is over for the buyer. If you sell to a cash trader they probably won't be able to pay until 7 days when the trade protection is over. If you sell to an "instant cashout" site, you will probably only get your money in 7 days when the trade protection is over.

Todays update makes CS2 trades reversible for 7 days. This is probably the biggest skin trading change since the introduction of the 7 day trade hold. We will probably see big changes in the way marketplaces work, how insta-cashout sites work and how traders handle payouts.
