@t0mbfx I fell into this mindset when I realised my data showed the highest winning R with my strategy was 2R. Having the data will make it stick.

@t0mbfx A lot of my passed accounts were completed in one trade.
Would I do that in my funded? Heck no. Stick to the strategy going forward.
Aim is to collect funded accounts quickly and lower risk massively after.

If you’re a profitable trader, you shouldn’t be spending months on one funded challenge
If you are, you’re probably under-leveraging
Risk 2% per trade, and either pass it fast, or fail it fast
Worst comes to worst you fail the challenge and have to buy another one - risk 2% per trade again and try to pass it in decent time
This is much better than having the same funded account for months, or even a year and risking 0.5% per trade trying to escape from drawdown
Fair enough if you’re not profitable yet
But if you ARE, then you lose much more in opportunity cost by staying on these challenges forever than you do in actual cost by failing 1 or 2

@TanjaTrades Longed to the top and passed an eval... to watch the dump straight after was... interesting. 😅

@forexblog9ja If logic and rationality were the same, we'd all be rich.

@breadball25 @TraderAryan That's not that unusual but I had external stressors I had to fix before instantly seeing progress. And the time between passing a combine seeing a payout was incredibly short in comparison.
English

@LyncMoney @TraderAryan it took you three years to pass a combine ???

You chose trading as a career? Cool
Then welcome to hell at least for the first 3 years
Choosing trading means choosing pain and suffering
You’re not getting rich next week
You will cry, you will suffer, you will lose
But if you survive it, you’ll walk away with a skill that prints money forever
That’s the entry fee, bro pay it or quit.

Be with someone who adds value and makes you a better person. Anything less will dampen your road to success.

@KINGKLC001 Absolutely! Here was a chart of my cumulative PNL I posted earlier in the year showing the pivot towards success. I bet you can tell exactly the point at which I ended a toxic relationship. Being with the right person matters more than anyone can believe! 🙌

@LyncMoney I feel you on this. Once you’ve grown emotionally and mentally, casual connections don’t hit the same anymore. A real relationship should add value, peace, and growth — otherwise it becomes a distraction. High standards aren’t pride, they’re protection.”
