Congrats to Meghan Wysocki of Grosse Pointe South High School. Meghan was editor-in-chief of The Tower newspaper. She also was awarded an All-MIPA scholarship for her work and represented Michigan in the national Journalism Education Association’s Journalist of the Year contest.

Congratulations to Cate Weiser of Ann Arbor Community High School, a photojournalism member of MIPA’s 2022 Student Journalist Staff. Cate was editor-in-chief of The Communicator’s social media. She was awarded an All-MIPA scholarship for her outstanding work in photojournalism.

Congratulations to Lucy Tobier of Ann Arbor Community High School, who was named a News Writing & Reporting member of MIPA’s 2022 Student Journalist Staff, which annually recognizes Michigan’s top student journalists. Lucy was editor-in-chief of The Communicator.

Congratulations to Eleni Tecos of Grosse Pointe South High School, a news design member of MIPA’s 2022 Student Journalist Staff, which annually recognizes Michigan’s top student journalists. Eleni was editor-in-chief of the biweekly Tower newspaper.

Congratulations to Maura Puro of Grand Blanc High School, a yearbook design member of MIPA’s 2022 Student Journalist Staff. Maura was editor-in-chief of the Echo yearbook and was awarded the All-MIPA scholarship for her outstanding yearbook work.

Congratulations to Lyndon Potter of Lake Orion High School. Lyndon has been an on-air sports commentator, director, camera operator and anchor for Dragon Broadcasting and was awarded the All-MIPA scholarship for his outstanding work in broadcast journalism.

Congratulations to Grace Montgomery of Grand Haven High School, a news design member of MIPA’s 2022 Student Journalist Staff, which annually recognizes Michigan’s top student journalists. Grace was editor-in-chief of The Bucs’ Blade newspaper.
