Vancouver Whitecaps FC, viaSport, and the Province of British Columbia have announced a partnership to bring new soccer mini pitches to up to 20 communities throughout BC – ensuring hosting FIFA World Cup 2026 leaves a lasting legacy that reaches far beyond the stadium. 📰 | whitecapsfc.com/mini-pitches These state-of-the-art, multi-sport pitches are designed for year-round play in schoolyards, parks and community spaces. Each pitch will be supported by programming and mentorship from Whitecaps FC and other provincial sport organizations such as BC Soccer and the Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation Council.
