@sleepingnemui2 Unc is 2 centuries old and still acting a fool.

@PaleoOfTheNerd @AkhavS @MGecko117 They are posting political content every other post, every day.
It’s not off of one tweet, or opinion, it’s dozens, if not hundreds of instances.
What’s the point of making a sci-fi world in space if you yourself don’t love it? Why make pizza when you yourself hate pepperoni?
English

@MaddockJr14721 @AkhavS @MGecko117 Boiling someone's entire personality down to an opinion they shared online is not how someone's character should be judged. Also, exploring themes of space travel in your science fiction series doesn't make you someone who should instantly support humans becoming 'space-faring.'
English

It’s kind of disappointing to hear this type of pessimistic sentiment about space travel from an artist whose work has been extremely inspiring and influential to me for such a long time. Our species is about 300,000 years old. We’ve only had agriculture for around 12,000 years, powered flight for 122 years, modern rockets for 100 years, and semiconductors since 1947—only 79 years. That’s roughly 0.02% of our species’ history
Nearly everything we think of as “modern civilization” has happened in this tiny fraction of our existence, so saying “we’ve existed for 100,000 years without becoming a spacefaring civilization” is, frankly, an absurd argument

Alex@alexriesart
I'm not even talking about extinction. It might just never become a major cultural value; its extremely expensive and space is almost all immediately lethal to humans. We have existed in various societies for over 100,000 years without becoming a space-faring civilization.
English

@PaleoOfTheNerd @AkhavS @MGecko117 It's art, not content, art.
And his personality, this "ugh humans bad, we are never making it to space" caricature is cancerous, sickening, hypocritical.
It's like a pizzeria ran by a guy that hates pizza, and won't let you forget it. Exhausting.
English

@MaddockJr14721 @AkhavS @MGecko117 Can’t just be a 2D content pumper, gotta have a personality with beliefs that don’t align with mine! Siiiiggghhh!!

@AkhavS @MGecko117 I think it's new.
Can't just make art, you HAVE to have an opinion on some bullshit that doesn't pertain to you.
English

@MGecko117 Did he become overly-political as a part of his recent change, or was he always like this?

@ThePrimalDino @deltaIV9250 Guy that made Birrin? I’m so out of the loop until Delta posts about it.
English

@deltaIV9250 I know exactly who you are subtweeting. I really wanted to say something when I saw that post but decided not to
English

@deltaIV9250 Maybe, hopefully, it’s a case of “art & artist” being opposites.
Like the Ghibli movie guy director.
And hopefully it’s not them waffle stomping the people they cater to.

@DocStrangelove2 I want my ashes to be infused into a dildo for my wife to use.

If you ever did this for my family, I’m coming back to haunt you.

@Eviscerador @TKohoto They’re looked back at with respect and admiration? Pretty good actually.
English

@TKohoto Take a look at how spaniards and portuguese are viewed in America today, even if they introduced western civilization and were the foundation of all the current infrastructure in the whole continent. Yeah, right. I don't think so.
English

Unironically, if Starship turns out to be extremely successful and space exploration really ramps up by the late 21st century, then by the 22nd or 23rd century humanity might look back at America as the first true aerospace empire, the one that pushed humans into the space frontier. People in the future could end up admiring the U.S. the same way we look at Rome today, as a civilization that laid the foundation for everything that came after.
grant!!!@GrantObi
they made it really big because the target market for space exploration is Americans

i still believe that the end sequence where ellie holsters her gun and gets abby down from the cross was due to playtesting because when the beta testers see abby they would just shoot her up and not let the ending play out lmfao
