Muslims don't worship the Kaaba any more than Christians worship church buildings or Buddhists think a stone statue literally hears their prayers.

Modern territorial claims aren't settled by tracing ancestry back thousands of years. They're settled through law, politics, self-determination, and negotiated agreements.

بتایا جا رہا ہے کہ چکوال کی ایک فیملی جو آسٹریلیا میں رہائش پذیر تھی کچھ عرصہ پہلے پاکستان آئی۔ یہاں سے پوری فیملی حج کرنے چلی گئی اور منگل کے روز سعودی عرب سے واپس پاکستان پہنچی۔ فیملی کے سربراہ عدیل احمد بدھ اور جمعرات کی درمیانی شام اپنے سسر کے گھر کھانے کی دعوت پہ گئے۔ ان کے ساتھ ان کی اہلیہ ڈاکٹر سدرہ ، نو سالہ بیٹی ہانیہ اور ایک بیٹا عفان بھی تھا۔ سسر کے گھر جاتے ہوئے یہ ڈکیتی کی واردات کا شکار ہو گئے۔ اسی دوران سی سی ڈی تھانہ کو واردات کی اطلاع مل چکی تھی۔ سی سی ڈی اہلکاروں نے انہیں ہی ڈاکو سمجھ کر گاڑی پہ اندھا دھند فائرنگ کر دی۔ جس کے نتیجے پوری گاڑی چھلنی ہو گئی۔ کار میں نو سالہ بچی ہانیہ موقع پر دم توڑ گئی۔ جبکہ باقی ہوری فیملی شدید زخمی ہو گئی ہے۔ یہ انتہائی افسوس ناک واقعہ ہے کہ پولیس نے کسی وارننگ یا گاڑی کے ٹائر برسٹ کرنے کے بجائے گاڑی کو ہی ٹارگٹ کر دیا۔ اس فیملی کا نقصان کون پورا کرے گا ؟ اس اندوہناک واقعہ پر یہ سوال حق بجانب ہے کہ کیا سی سی ڈی کے اہلکار اس قدر نان پروفیشنل ، اناڑی اور بیوقوف ہیں کہ وہ کسی شریف فیملی اور ڈکیتوں میں فرق بھی نہیں کرسکتے؟ یا پھر سی سی ڈی کا تشکیل کردہ مخبری کا نظام ناکارہ ہے کہ اصل ڈاکو فرار ہوجاتے ہیں اور معصوم فیملی کی گاڑی گولیوں سے چھلنی کر دی جاتی ہے ؟ منقول
