my mom (who's a university professor) did something interesting last year: she assigned her students to give chatgpt an essay question, have it write a paper, and then proofread/fact check it. nearly every single student in that class came out of that assignment anti-chatgpt.

I know I don't post here often, but life has been a roller coaster this year and I've barely even scratched the surface of it in this post. It's been dark for me for some time and creating art has been the only respite I've had to help keep me from drowning.

hey @dropout I have an accessibility suggestion: please make it so, if I turn on subtitles, they just stay on for every video until I manually turn them off. currently, I have to turn them on for every individual video, which is especially frustrating if I’m watching a playlist

Every single retail job I’ve ever had explicitly told us to not go after shoplifters so when you hear stories of someone harming a shoplifter where they work they’re not doing that “to protect the company” they’re doing that bc they want to harm someone

They've done enough based on FACT to lose business. Non-truths only hurt the credibility of the truths.

All I pointed out was that it's possible he still owned the IP because their contract may not have covered the base of saying "anything designed or created on company time belongs to WW" in their contract.
