The amount of abuse I got on here for saying it was a mistake to let Burgzorg leave in January 😂 He’s an infuriating player, but had his uses. Give me him coming off the bench over Hansen, Sene, Sarmineto, Gilbert, Castledine, Silvera or Ibeh. We made the squad worse in Jan.

Boro need a complete rebuild under Hellberg this summer. Bin off basically every goalkeeper they have (especially Brynn), sell Hackney to fund a midfield built around Morris, go back to a 4231 with actual wingers, buy a McBurnie-type CF. Hellberg is the guy, this squad isn’t.

Gotta sit back and laugh at the reaction from the Saints fans. Still showing the same lack of class that’s summed up their football club for weeks. I’d rather see my team lose like that every day of the week than support a football club like there’s. They just don’t get it 😂

@MattPB_ @rob_fletcher_ @Realdavebrown If they were ever going to do it, if they were ever going to grab the bull by the horns and show the fans they’re serious about promotion it was this season with the league position and the PSR headroom.

4 seasons ago they were playing in League One, now they’ve survived in the Premier League & qualified for the Europa League. Grinds my gears that so many #Boro fans just shrug and insist “we’re just a small club” as we continue to tread water in the second tier year after year.
