Xavier Worthy had 742 yards and 9 touchdowns his rookie year. Then played his sophomore season with a completely torn labrum and dislocated shoulder. Hstill managed 619 yards. Between those two seasons Mahomes missed him on 13 deep balls. These 13 throws were solely on Mahomes. There were others that were Worthy’s fault. If you average those out to 40 yards a pop, you’d have 520 yards of missed throws to Xavier Worthy. He could’ve easily had a 1,000 yard rookie season, and a 900 yard season with a torn labrum the year after that. The Worthy bust allegations HAVE to go. They’re just not true. The guy is so dedicated to the Kansas City Chiefs he risked his shoulder health for the rest of his career to help the team out.

Chiefs can use him more then all other teams in front of us. We have most light boxes, we have best Oline and Best QB. All top offense teams have 2 good RBs now

Most important for Mahomes is OL, which we already have one of the best in the NFL. 2nd best complement to Mahomes is a dominant run game. Make Defense bite on the RPOs and stack the box which lets Mahomes cook!!

@hbtCHIEFS ok, I have been hating on Bain because of him not being “Best overall” only top at the Edge premium position group. BUT, best thing you can do to our defense is complement @StoneColdJones . Bains weakness with arms is actually a STRENGTH for Spags Defense. Bull Rush!

Especially if this prevents the Chiefs from drafting an OT at pick 9

@hbtCHIEFS So then next season we do what? Pay 25-30 million for a RT? Drafting one this year at 9 or 29 is the smartest thing to do. Then we have a cheap RT for 4-5 years. Edge and RT would be a very successful draft you win and lose on the line of scrimmage.

Who are your top 3 players you'd like to see the Chiefs potentially draft at pick 9 if the board fell in the perfect way? Can be any position group, just needs to be somewhat realistic.

@hbtCHIEFS @timsyx Yes Downs is the Best Overall outside of Love. As Veach said, this draft has non premium positions as best overall and specifically said Downs as one of them. Downs should be the pick over Tate, Bailey, and Bain.

@timsyx This would make the most sense, especially if Tate, Bailey, and Bain are all off the board at nine. Could at least try to trade back a few picks unless they were high on somebody else that was there.

@hbtCHIEFS I just hope Veach does what he says hes going to do, take the best overall at 9. The premium posistions of WR and DE is like he said very deep in this class. We need to draft Downs or Styles. They are the best overall. Draft them if available, before we reach on a DE and WR.

@hbtCHIEFS If Downs is still available thats a no doubter we draft him. Trade down I like Sadiq at TE, more then any of these Receivers. He is faster and stronger then them and he will be learning from the 🐐 in Kelce. We need to maximize Kelces last year with him teaching his replacement.

@MaxEternalLife It all depends on how the board falls but I could see Lemon at 9 as a realistic option. There's always "this player could be available in round ___" yet there's also a chance they won't be.
