Yesterday, I joined striking COs on the picket line in Sullivan County. I showed up to support them and to listen to them. Just like anybody else, these folks want to go to work, do their jobs well, and earn an honest living. At the end of their shift, they just want to go home and be with their families. They want the prison to be safer for everybody: prisoners, visitors, and their fellow officers. I want that for them, too. But right now, they’re not getting the respect they’ve earned, and they’re being asked to do too much with too little while facing unrealistic mandates out of Albany. I’ll continue to stand with these workers until they get what they need.

I have to say…I have become disillusioned by the left since leaving elected office. And this right here is a joke of epic proportions. Ftr I am not a member of DSA so put down your whips for the lashing you’d enjoy giving me for even mentioning them. This comment is purely about the absolutely untenable nature of the left. The lack of strategy and misguided purity is so beyond unworkable that the average person cannot even attempt to relate to the positions the left is taking. And betraying your top ally? Your only desire is clearly losing forever.

Thank you, Lt. Gov! We dems cannot let Biden decimate us due to pure hubris -- the way that RBG did, when she refused to retire when Obama asked her to. Biden has done a good job, but he cannot beat Trump, so it is time to put the good of the nation ahead of his own ego.
