Just had Codex run off with a prompt and do far too much than what I wanted and I had to rollback 98% of it. I gave that as feedback and asked what I did wrong in my prompt so I know for the future and it ran through exactly what I should have done.

My current agentic workflow is about 5x faster, better quality, I understand the system better, and I’m having fun again. My previous workflows have left me exhausted, overwhelmed, and feeling out of touch with the systems I was building. They also degraded quality too much. This is way better. I’m not ready to describe in detail. It’s still evolving a bit. But I’ll give you a high level here. I call this the Night Shift workflow.

I know this has already been done a bunch of times, but I love that you can use AI to whip up little personal browser extensions like this.
Took me fifteen minutes to setup a local Chrome extension that lets me select a portion of the screen and request a tweak.
