Yes, I want a politician that roots out fraud and fixes terrible over spending instead of raising taxes and continues terrible over spending.

I'm not going to vote for Pratt because, among other reasons, I've already seen what it's like to have a reality TV star with zero experience in charge BUT this is a really good ad. And it's also why I ALSO can't vote for Bass or Raman anyone who has been in charge. If you owned a restaurant, and the managers let it go to hell, you'd hire someone new.

He has been a strong advocate for the families who lost their homes in the fires &tracking down the fraud that stole disaster relief funds that never went to those families.

I thought he was seizing the moment after the fires until I saw him accurately calling out all the real problems & corruption that needs to be fixed.

I’ve seen him so disgusted at the state of LA, and no other politicians stepping up to do anything, so he feels the need to stand up for his city. That’s actually a really good pitch.

@meghan_daum @LukeBarnett Being mayor of LA should not be Pratt's first actual job in life. He got radicalized by a horrific thing that happened and it's truly devastating that he lost his home along with so many others. But "I can't get hired to do anything else so I'll run for mayor?" is insane.

I've never been more invested in a mayoral race for a city I don't actually reside. This campaign ad is awesomely brutal. Vote @spencerpratt!

@LukeBarnett Yeah he was a reality star, but he also had his home burned down in the fires and since has been on an admirable crusade to hold the politicians who made terrible decisions leading up to the fires accountable. This is his very much earned redemption arc.

He specifically didn’t like bobert’s post that tried to frame him as a fellow activist for a republican cause. And he doesn’t see his jokes as the activism Bobert wanted to rope him into. They’re jokes.
