先ほど、『劇場版モノノ怪』についてお詫びと経緯説明の文書を出しましたが、今回その責任を取ってプロデューサー業を引退することとしました。 昨夜、グループ内にも周知しました。 これまでも、自分が強引に進めたことがトラブルの要因となっていることが多く、その瞬間瞬間は、諦めないこと、進むことを選んできたのですが、『モノノ怪』については自分で責任を取るべきと考えていました。 モノノ怪に限らず、これまで不快な思いをされたお客様、ご迷惑をおかけした関係者の皆様に対してお詫び申し上げます。 時代感覚、顧客感覚との乖離を感じることが増え、それによるチームへの影響、グループスタジオ、作品への影響などを考えてのことです。今後は経営と後進の育成、業界のゲームチェンジに挑むつもりです。(仕込み済みの作品のクレジットは変更しません) フジテレビ時代から20年以上、企画・製作のプロデューサーを濃淡含めて100作品くらい関わらせてもらってきましたが、その中でも中村監督作品は自分にとっていつも特別なものでした。最後の作品が『劇場版モノノ怪』でよかったです。最高の出来上がりになっておりますので、ぜひ楽しんでいただきたいです。
