By 2025, 99% of NHS Talking Therapies will include employment advisers. This in a time where there are not enough therapists remember. So money that could go into treatment is going into the neoliberal fantasy work is cure INSTEAD. #Getbritainworking

As a street, we discussed the far-right threat in the lead up to the planned attack on Walthamstow. Many of us turned out to let them know their hate won't be tolerated here. Many more wanted to come but were too scared. They feel less afraid now. There is strength in unity

Anyone else come into land, got level with the trees (approx 2m high) then accelerated to go back up into the sky?! Circled for 15 mins before pilot explained we hadn’t been able to land because some kind of transport was on the runway. How can this even happen @cancuniairport?

@CPRELondon @wfcouncil Local residents agree. The published plans are vague so we don’t know how much land they want to build on but Metropolitan Open Land must be protected. Current facilities serve a diverse population, inc disadvantaged young people who are unlikely to use the lido @MayorofLondon

Trans people just want to live their lives in peace. All we need to do is let them. It's not hard

@RussInCheshire The ADHDers in my life do this. Harder when you’re hungry. Smoothies and protein drinks help them. I’d say get the pie!

@EmilioLees Absolutely. And you’re often on Zoom so your name is actually on the screen. Deliberately not using it is a clear power move. In meetings, professionals bother to learn each other’s names; the use of “Mum” is invalidating and makes you a lesser participant in the conversation

When professionals use "Mum" (or whichever carer role), most of the time it's because they haven't made the effort to look up their name, or forget mid conversation. I've seen this both as a patient and in my professional life in meetings. This is not OK.

My name is not "Mum". Had my first experience with this today with a health professional and it felt dehumanising. Professionals, plase use the parent/carer's actual name #SEND #disability #autism #NHS #SLT
