The presale of the $BLOCK token by @magicblock is approaching, and I want to share why this project is interesting to me and why I plan to participate in the sale.
First of all, MagicBlock is a project building infrastructure for applications on Solana. The co-founders, Gabriele Picco (formerly at IBM Research) and Andrea Fortugno, are highly experienced engineers.
The project is backed by serious investors such as a16z, Lightspeed Faction, Delphi Ventures, Maven11, Mechanism Capital, Robot Ventures, and angels like Anatoly Yakovenko (co-founder of Solana). Together they have invested $10.5 million. This is a strong lineup of funds that usually support high-quality projects, which makes MagicBlock look very promising.
The core idea of the project is to replace AWS and other cloud services with on-chain infrastructure. Instead of centralized servers, everything runs on the blockchain with low latency (under 50 ms). They use ephemeral rollups so applications can work in real time without fragmentation like in traditional L2 solutions.
The network has already processed 1 billion transactions, which shows that applications are actively used and can handle billions of operations without failures. More than 250k delegations show how often accounts delegate state into ephemeral rollups for fast execution (like “renting” speed on Solana). There are already 27k unique addresses interacting with the network and this is only the beginning.
The project also has many partners such as FlashTrade, Pyth Network, Loyal (AI protocol), XO, Supersize, Jito, and the Solana Foundation, who collaborate and help each other grow.
The presale starts on February 5, 2026 and will last for 3 days. It will have two stages:
First 24 hours - whitelist only (active users, builders, Discord role holders, or those who interacted with MagicBlock on-chain).
Next 48 hours - open to everyone.
Whether to participate or not is up to you.
$0.01 per token at a $100M FDV looks attractive to me.
