I must take a selfie before the start of a run, not after. Before means no beads of sweat, less of a red face, not as warm, & no insects🦟 stuck to my bald head 😂. Running through clouds of bugs this morning. I’m surprised there’s none stuck in my teeth😂. Enjoyed, apart from🦟

@KeithSandie Thanks, Keith. I had a few beers when I finished work yesterday. I think this morning’s pace was me trying to convince myself that I was fine afterwards. I wasn’t fine 😂. Always the same when I have a few beers. Don’t sleep as good. Tired next day. But, my pace did surprise me.

@tracehodge17 Same as my wife. She point blank refuses to go this way. I took her here on a walk one time in daylight & she was not happy. Her brothers were rough boys - 2 were gang boys. They told her not to go here. She doesn’t go here. They are older now &respect me for not being a gang boy

Run to the tunnels. As a teenager rival gangs would collide here (I was not in a gang). Turf wars. A short cut to town your parents told you not to take. Stay above ground. I run through them now as an act of defiance (but still not at night)😂. Big step count at work continues🏃

It was a work step pb today. I think previous step pb was 44k. 46k at 4pm is good. Moving from 9am to 3:30pm. My wife put some little beers🍺 in the fridge for me. I may need to indulge in some taste testing before I get showered. Happy Friday, people. It’s been a busy week 👣

@SkiRunLift 5 days. Yep, the mind will play silly tricks on you after 5 days of running indoors. You’ll be glad there will be no ceiling above you when you do get out. I’m pleased to hear the blizzard done its thing & all is okay. Happy outdoors run 🏃♀️

More treadmill miles. The belt turns & legs move. Boring? Only when there’s a long spell of wet weather. Looking drier ahead. Anyway, I like boring. Boring helps me feel consistent 😂. Lots of steps at work too. Tired at night, but good tired. I’m bored of rain, not the treadmill

Outside run this morning 🏃😊. Weather forecasters who know me will know it wasn’t raining & it was dry underfoot. That’s the only way 🐭 would be out running at 7am 😂. Lots of steps at work yesterday. Feeling good. Not exhausted, yet. I can see Easter on the horizon. Keep going

My wife refuses to mollycoddle plants in our garden. She believes they either survive in our climate or they don’t. She’s like a gardening Sicario 😂

This is what heavy rain & high winds does to my Crocus 😢. Same as what it does to my motivation to run outside 😂. Crushed, deflated, battered.

Got the treadmill run in early again. I’m going to wear that treadmill out 😂 but I’m not going out for a morning run in rain & high winds 😂 I’m working in it all day. Yesterday hit 33k steps. Not my biggest work day steps at 44k. Sounds a lot but I’m on my feet all day. Normal

It’s Mother’s Day in the UK today. I knew it was best to get my run on the treadmill in fairly early this morning. The day will get busy. I’m in charge of kitchen duties all day today. Breakfast & a big Sunday lunch items were purchased yesterday. Time to prep & cook. 👨🍳

@SkiRunLift My wife keeps indoor🪴. I enjoy outdoor 🌸. My wife sometimes plants up hanging baskets (if weather is nice). I lose plants every year. It happens. Rough weather mostly. My boys are 17/18. 13 months apart. Like twins. Although as they’ve got older they differ. Daughter in her 30s

I can't keep plants alive for the life of me.
Well, catnip is pretty easy. There is also a plant Borage, which I had quite success with.
Great workout and defending the house from sudden DOOM!

WiFi & Cable are now working as they should. I fitted in a 45min strength session while I was waiting - forgot to stop my Garmin timer🤦♂️. I love gardening & plants. My cabinet of🌺🌸🌼books give me joy, as does my garden. Dumbbells & running are optional. Plants are essential🌱😊

No morning run for me. I’m waiting on the Cable Guy to fix the new WiFi box. One son didn’t get in from a party until 3am. Other son was still mooching about the house at the same time. My wife isn’t feeling well. It’s down to me - Sir Runalot - to ensure the castle is defended😂
