Today we started our new phys Ed unit: rugby! We are very lucky to have Ms. Smith, a University of Western Rugby player, working in our classroom. Today she taught us how to catch and throw the rugby ball. We’re looking forward to learning more! #rugby #funinphysed

Today the Grade 8 classroom was turned into a crime scene! Working through our inferencing unit, Ss were challenged to be detectives to collect their evidence and infer what may have happened in our room! I can’t wait to see what the Ss come up with! @ldcsb @SirArthurCarty

On 9/11, we are so beyond thankful for all of our emergency service workers who continue to keep us safe each and every day. A big thank you to several Carty classes who created beautiful cards, the firefighters at Station 12 were so grateful! @LDCSB

COVID check! Each student was sent home with a daily COVID check package today. On the last page there is a calendar, please sign each morning and return to your child’s teacher. This way we know all students are symptom free!
