By request from a soon-to-be-first-time visitor, the Big Dog, the Cream of the Crop, the GOAT, Crump’s Dream: Pine Valley Golf Club. It’s the consensus number 1 for a reason. Every hole is architectural perfection. Every shot is a thoughtful test. As a whole, it’s utterly unique, often imitated but never truly mimicked. It’s the only golf course that made me wish I was a better player, just so I could play the course in the manner that its creator intended.
