Very fascinated by gorpcore esp after crewing this backyard ultra (feels like this subsect can bleed over into ultra culture). For those who don’t know - gorpcore is sort of like super luxury hiking fashion. Tech jackets, cargo pants and shorts, hiking boots and sneakers (think Solomon), and accessories like fanny packs, crossbody bags. If ultra running continues on the trajectory that I believe it will (ie - exponential growth) I think fashion will capitalize on it and lean this way. My take this evening.

@JUST_LUK7N Can confirm, i bought razer dav3 pro because of a pro player. And genly the scroll design sucks, all the dirt gets stuck in the encoder, and any tiny hairs make my scroll wheel not usable basically. Had to disassemble it multiple times to make it work again

Please, DO NOT BUY GEAR that pro players use, mostly not from Razer. Do some reaserch, watch some reviews and do yourself a favor, by buying a gear that can be lower price and better quality. I would still rather prefer to go with Logitech over Razer, if that matters to you.

@TwinkTheory Zendaya is such a overhyped and overrated actress in many aspects of her acting. She plays the same grumpy too strong of a female to let out emotion female every single time. She never showed any variety of her roles, i think she will just die down as an actor eventually

She’s understandably on a money grab because she knows all of this, so she will produce what’s essentially slop to pull in as much money as she can. Right now her net worth is higher than Zendaya’s. Zendaya on the other hand has a different trajectory. She wants an academy award, she wants cemented A list status, effectively she’s one of the only real “movie stars” in her age cohort. This year alone she has euphoria (which she’s an executive producer of), Dune 3 (massive box office appeal, the Star Wars of the 2020’s), Spider-Man (another legacy brand), and The Odyssey which basically every A lister managed to get a chunk of. She’s a brand ambassador for several major fashion labels and is a fashion week/met gala fixture. You can’t really compare them based on this one off. Zendaya could take on a smaller film like The Drama because of her franchise money, which won’t just pay her once but will keep paying her in perpetuity. Robert Pattinson is in this boat too because of twilight when he was a kid. Sydney Sweeney will be a very rich woman but she’s destined to ultimately hawk a make up/perfume brand or something like that and possibly fade from acting altogether. Zendaya is also loaded but is playing the long game, so she’s selecting projects on building a prestige reputation and not just quick pay checks. None of this is judgmental of them, they’re both doing what any smart person would do with their distinct brands.

@katefrostcd @anactualwalnut if anything the logic is opposite, as the day goes, you should less and less heavy meals so that your body can get ideal 12 hours of window without any food ingested. 4 hours before sleep is enough for food to be partially digested.

Sorry to be a food shamer but something that is actually really insane to me as someone who doesn’t even diet are the people who believe a pastry is breakfast. You fr just had a scone or a cinnamon roll or a coffee cake to start your day. Zero protein whatsoever. Nothing. Just a pastry.

If anything your body can handle a bigger meals right in the morning, since it is in the best case scenario (good sleep) rested and your body is ready.

@anactualwalnut @ClaireMax i used to feel food coma in the beginning, but as your body adapts to it, your insulin response will be more balanced instead of spiking, so the crash feels less intense.

@anactualwalnut @ClaireMax i lift regularly, and i 100% try to eat as much full meal as i can in the morning so that i don't have to overeat later in the day. as the time goes up i eat less and less to hit my goals. but i absolutely have to get 1000 calories of full complete meal in the morning.

@anactualwalnut once in a while is fine, but i absolutely can not do this typa diet on a regular basis, even once in a while my gut feels heavy af.
