Sadly, Judges are now restricting lawyers against adumbrating orally in court as itโs seen as showing off. Lawyers from the 80s would be shaking in their graves.
If you want to stay a poor lawyer, keep delivering before getting paid. I made that mistake myself, just days after being called to the Bar. Not anymore these days, my invoice comes first.
Are we allowed to shoot content in court? I have a content idea in mind but Iโll need a courtroom, Iโve seen skit makers make skit in courtroom. Please which court can I use that wonโt cause sanctions ๐

Some years ago, a senior lawyer looked me dead in the eye at the Rivers State High Court, and said, โYou cannot be an introvert in this profession.โ That sentence stayed with me for a long time. I did not fully understand the weight of it until I interned at UUBO. I remember watching my co-interns actively network, learn, and build relationships with associates and partners, while I sat there feeling like an outsider. At some point, I realized no one was going to pull me aside and tell me to step up. No one was coming to fix it for me. You should have seen how fast I locked in and got my act together. Lmao.
