This paper reveals that FL-based road condition classification systems are vulnerable to targeted label flipping attacks. We propose an evaluation metric based on label distance and a scheme named FLARE based on neuron-wise analysis to better quantify and address such a risk.

They perform a security assessment of the Client-to-Authenticator Protocol (CTAP), implemented in all FIDO2 security keys used for web authentication. They propose eleven attacks, including FIDO2 credential deletion, authenticator factory reset, and user tracking.

The five E-Trojans attacks undervolt and overvolt #escooter batteries, track the user, and more. These attacks are deployed from BLE range or remote via a malicious Android app, and impact the user's safety, security, and privacy.
