Due to the swift and courageous response of the security forces, all five attackers were neutralized. The attackers-Hamza, Haider, Rana, Raja, and Mohammad-were Pakistani nationals. They were members of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), two Pakistan-based militant organizations. India’s investigation revealed that the attack was planned and supported by Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). A JeM leader, Ghazi Baba, was identified as the main coordinator of the operation.
