Sometimes I stop and think how far this journey has taken me. Growing up in the Netherlands, music was just a dream I couldn't shake. No band, no budget, no connections. Just a guitar and a stubborn belief that it meant something. Fast forward to today - I'm living in Manchester, writing, recording and playing every instrument myself, putting out music I'm genuinely proud of. It hasn't been easy. There were years when I questioned everything. When the songs felt invisible and the effort felt pointless. What I've learned is this: keep going anyway. The craft gets sharper. The sound gets truer. And eventually, the right ears find you. If you're a DIY musician right now, struggling to be heard - don't quit. Don't compare your chapter one to someone else's chapter ten.
