@Osarseph0 @ThirdDoclean Sorry if i'm sound a like liberal butare various ages of marriage in the history so i don´t what the church says or did in the topic
English

@Newlearn35 @ThirdDoclean St. Thomas says that one can consent to *betrothal* at the age of 7, but marriage was canonical after 12 for girls and 14 for boys. I never said this was a problem in theory, either.
English

@Osarseph0 @ThirdDoclean The paragraph speaks of a marriage (which should be the same and the only thing for consent) not betrothal and I don't know, this is uncomfortable since I don't know what they based it on since the age of menstruation was 14 and Saint Hildegard of Bingen says that one should ...
English

@Osarseph0 @ThirdDoclean ¿ That's fine ? Saint Thomas Aquinas talk about some cases by below 12 so i don´t know that things since i don´t want to be comparte to Muslism . pbs.twimg.com/media/HKFE_aCW…

@m_izanami_ East med is too broad here, the hello-Anatolian ancestry is different from the Roman levant one.

English

@AbdAshtart4 ¿ You want to talk about it's topic in dm ? I believe that it's better to share information of but you decide . Not worry .
English

@Newlearn35 Well, we do have some Judean samples. Still awaiting more info and analyses. Nonetheless, here are my results:

English

@AbdAshtart4 Yeah , i question because i find many post about the topic but the Palestinians are native to palestine , but hoppefully we that realiable samples of Roman Israel to close the topic
English

@Newlearn35 These regions cover in modern times 4 countries and yet they are closer to one another than Northern Palestine to Southern Palestine. It is a geographic continuum - and people moved based on circumstances.

English

@AbdAshtart4 No, not even jokingly. I don't think Palestine was empty before the arrival of the Arabs. Just ask around because many people keep repeating stories of families with Syrian or Jordanian origins. I support the Palestinian people and I hope they stop suffering.
English

@Newlearn35 It's probably both. But they are more likely than any other group to be with the highest Judean percentage, especially that they live in the isolated highlands since very long time ago. Do not tell me you are one of those who believes Palestine was empty? People converted
English

@JibrailGaboro @baselazzo @KoL2060393 Yeah we need more data of Mesopotamian and ancient Cushites . Thanks for all .
English

@Newlearn35 @baselazzo @KoL2060393 We all partially descend from them. The atheist arguments are nonsensical even more so, Noah was certainly not a "black or white man" and neither was Adam.

@JibrailGaboro @baselazzo @KoL2060393 Yeah . I only question because are various atheist and afrocentrism how use this to this agendas of to attack the Faith
English

@Newlearn35 @baselazzo @KoL2060393 No not necessarily, it's nearly impossible to trace that nowadays.
English

@Newlearn35 @baselazzo @KoL2060393 Levantines have Mesopotamian genes from the great Amorite migrations, but yes. Egyptians are not, they are Copts, and Hamitic, not even Semitic. They would be closer to Canaanites before they mixed with Amorites. Nimrod was from Cush, yes, but we are not all Cushites.
English

@JibrailGaboro @baselazzo @KoL2060393 OK thanks for the date !! But 2 things
1 Still the Levantines are in a distant cluster from Assryians but cultural ties are more that genetics . nature.com/articles/ncomm…
2 You include Egyptians and similars ? Since the Bible says that Nimrod was the founder of city in Sumeria
English

@Newlearn35 @baselazzo @KoL2060393 I would also like to add a typological comparison that shows Jerusalem/Mesopotamia's synthesis. Adam per ancient tradition was made from the dust of Jerusalem (the foundation stone) yet Eden was Mesopotamia, likewise the Church originated in Jerusalem flourished in Mesopotamia.
English

@JibrailGaboro @baselazzo @KoL2060393 OK thanks for all !! But i continue with doubts if the levantines can be included like the palestinians from example
English

@Newlearn35 @baselazzo @KoL2060393 Members of the uniates like the Syriac Catholics and Chaldeans remain Assyrian.
English

@JibrailGaboro @baselazzo @KoL2060393 OK thanks for the aclaration but what about the Calcedonians and the Assyrians of the church of east ? They are still Assyrians ?
English

@Newlearn35 @baselazzo @KoL2060393 I am a Miaphysite, they're Syriac Orthodox. Syriac means Assyrian, we still have a parish called the Assyrian Orthodox Church. The Church of the East only recently used the Assyrian name.

English

@JibrailGaboro @baselazzo @KoL2060393 1 Yeah , the Assyrians term in only to pre islamic Eastern habitantes of Arabia
2 ¿ Arqe you ? Becase the levant in roman times was more Myaphisite or Chaceldonian and not part of the Assyrian church
English

@Newlearn35 @baselazzo @KoL2060393 The Maronites and Greek Orthodox however largely Grecified/Arabized/Latinized.
English

@JibrailGaboro @baselazzo @KoL2060393 1 Thanks so all Mesopotamians profiles are Assyrians
2 ¿ You include levantines ? they mixed with Assyrians but it's profile it's different pbs.twimg.com/media/HFljiH-a…
English

@JibrailGaboro @baselazzo @KoL2060393 ¿ Even the ancient peoples of places like Qatar ? Because according to this paper the ancient people of Qatar like Saint Isaac of NIniveh were similar to Assyrians or even Assyrians sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
i.ibb.co/hFzjB4Kj/LIh-Q…
English

@Newlearn35 @baselazzo @KoL2060393 They were different groups in the past, but they became united after Christianity under the Syriac Patriarchate.
