Southern Louisiana communities continue to need help as they recover, and Omega Protein is committed to doing our part.

We spent today in Cut Off, Louisiana feeding over 1,000 people impacted by Hurricane Ida. A big thank you to our partner in this effort, the Bayou Boys Community Helpers.

Our team traveled to the @petfoodindustry #PetfoodForum last week to meet with #petfood industry partners. We love being the sustainable supplier of an essential ingredient for pet nutrition.

Both of these charities are doing great work to help hard-hit communities get back on their feet.

We were proud to chip in to Hurricane Ida relief efforts by delivering supplies to Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana yesterday.

Omega Protein is donating 550 gallons of gasoline, 3 pallets of water (252 cases), and 1 pallet of hand sanitizer TODAY to anyone in southern Louisiana impacted by Hurricane Ida.

All impacted members of the community are encouraged to come.

We're loading up our truck now and expect to arrive in Chauvin, LA by 11 a.m. central at St. Joseph Church – 5232 Highway 56, Chauvin, LA 70344.

As an artificial reef, the Defender will benefit the Gulf of Mexico’s marine ecosystem & create opportunities for recreational fishermen & divers.
