Onefinity Validator Testnet & Genesis Staking Update We’re excited to share important updates about the Validator Testnet, Genesis Staking, and how you can maximize your rewards: Validator Testnet Availability • The Validator Testnet will be available starting January 2025. • Running a node on the testnet can qualify you for an extra 15% APR as an airdrop, boosting your rewards to a total of 30% APR. Genesis Staking Updates • Access Requirements: • The Genesis staking button will only be accessible to individuals we meet with in a call beforehand. • A minimum of 5 NFT Validators is required to be accepted. • Node Requirements for Mainnet: • At launch, anyone can run a node on the Onefinity mainnet if they have an NFT and 3,000 ONE. Unstaking Policies • Timeline: Unstaking is currently available and will remain open until January 10, 2025. 🔗 staking.onefinity.network • Restrictions: • Partial unstaking is not allowed-unstaking must be done in full. • Once you press unstake, all your tokens and NFTs will be unstaked automatically. • After unstaking, you cannot stake again. Staking Rewards • Genesis Staking APR: • Base staking rewards offer 15% APR. • Running a node on the testnet qualifies you for an additional 15% APR, delivered as an airdrop, bringing the total rewards to 30% APR. • Lock-in Period: Once staked, your tokens and NFTs will be locked until the mainnet goes live. ♾️ OneFinity - Postponement of Mainnet launch until August - September 2025. We are committed to delivering the best experience possible for our users and developers, which is why we’ve decided to postpone the OneFinity Mainnet launch to August/September of next year. The Sovereign Chain SDK continues to receive critical updates, and the revised timeline will enable us to incorporate the latest developments, deliver a better product, and ensure stronger security guarantees as a consequence of the full-scope audit that will be conducted by MultiversX starting with the next month. Once these milestones are achieved, we will have the final version ready for the Mainnet launch. Towards the latter part of January, 2025, a Testnet event for OneFinity validators will run, details regarding this will be available to all in the community in the coming weeks. For Genesis Validator stakers, the following will be available from next week. Investors will be able to unstake from the Genesis staking SC, there will be an unbonding schedule of 10 days. For those who do not wish to unstake, the APR % will remain the same as always and will be available until Mainnet launch. The OneFinity team would like to add that our EVM-compatible chain is ready from our end and will be launched once the audited MultiversX SDK is available to us.
