I discover a whole other floor in my house that I never knew was there. @erik_davis has crowded every room with beds of various sorts: a 1970s waterbed, an ornately carved wooden Victorian era bed, a shitty air mattress on a bed frame that's cut off way too low. #dream

I return to my house to find it full of people I know but not well. They tell me a shopkeeper told them my address, invited them. Annoyed, I go out the side door, realize there's a whole urban center I never knew was there, including a supermarket I've visited before in a #dream

We go into the rickety wooden tower full of bikers to find our friend. Invaders come, topple the tower. I jump from a height but land softly. I seek her in an abandoned shack, listen to music she was making, a haunting inhuman ethereal wailing sound, not of waking reality. #dream

My hand jerks involuntarily, I feel it actually happening in my sleep, and I shatter a window, sending a huge spray of glass everywhere. I realize I have shards of glass embedded in all my fingertips, so realistic that when I wake up, I keep examining my hands to make sure #dream

Everything around me is coated with a thin layer of chocolate. I pick up a plate. take a bite. It's the texture of a sugar cone after the ice cream has melted into it. I worry about doing the laundry, assuming everything will melt and I'll get chocolate all over my hands. #dream

It starts out with a couple of us holding hands. Our exuberance is so palpable that other people, strangers on the street, join us, a huge group holding hands. Eventually everyone in the country is joined together, singing and dancing jubilantly, waving our arms. Joyous #dream

We realize that songs have all been mixed up. The Beatles Twist & Shout should actually have the lyrics to Crimson & Clover, most hip hop songs are supposed to be half the tempo they are and classical music mostly has a jive beat. Musicians have to frantically re-record. #dream

High on a roof, to get to the next place we have to shuffle along a ledge only two feet wide. Suddenly, two men jump from the roof. I run downstairs, try to call 911 but the guy on the other end speaks too quietly for me to hear him then starts deriding me for calling him. #dream

A path of scissors of all sizes and shapes leads to a barn, workers on scaffolding cleaning up. I think something bad has happened, the foreman insists it hasn't. One of the workers sticks out his tongue, long and pointed like a lizards, to let me know the foreman is lying #dream

A red pulsating circle (the sun through my eyelids) drips down my face and floods my body with a pulsating vibration like a nightclub. All of reality exists in a silver disc behind the red rhythm that dissolves and disperses like mist in the wind. #hypnagogic #liminaldream #nap

I become aware of the spaces in which things are left undone or unsaid. Someone tells me something about their childhood but the rest of story looms like a cloud. All the work that could have been done on my house but wasn't takes up a state-sized space in the sky. #dream

We sit at a long wooden table. The grain of the wood swirls and flows like a river. I ask our host what kind of wood it is. A low, serious voice intones directly in my ear "The secrets of the forest will last forever!" My host shrugs, says he doesn't know about the wood. #dream

@fungal_punk @LucidVirtuality @Brian_Gilan I've known people who primarily dream in black and white. I don't think I've ever done that, but I've definitely dream colors that don't actually exist, and brilliant jewel tones are a regular feature of my dream life.

@LucidVirtuality @OneiroFer @Brian_Gilan Interesting, thanks for the link. I've never dreamed B&W and would be memorable if I did. I've had dreams heavily influenced by video games in the past though, so definitely believe that media could/would influence dreams.

I'm part of a group of incredibly pregnant women. Then we've all given birth but we still have huge bellies. One of the women shows me a trick, exhaling while pushing down on my abdomen, to expel air. We all do it together, immediately deflate like so many balloons. #dream

I follow a flock of wild turkeys around trying to put them into a large cardboard box but they squawk and fuss and keep escaping. Then I realize I can just buy turkey at the supermarket and wrap it up. I'm a vegetarian so I'm not sure why I'm doing this at all. Silly #dream
