Travis Steele is frustrated about Miami (OH) being placed in the 11AM time slot Thursday.
Called it a “joke” and said it was more like 10am with the recent time change.

It’s not just the men’s side.
The Miami women’s team is also the 1-seeds in the MAC Tournament.
If the women reach the final, they will play 3 games in the tourney — all tipping-off before noon.

a big reason college is such a bad investment is kids move away from home and the value of all relationships they’ve ever built goes to zero
then you spend 4yrs making new friends and building a network and then everyone leaves and those relationships go to zero again
now you are looking for work and don’t really know anyone in the city you’re living in
no family, no day 1 homies, no college friends
you make very narrow informational progress in one area at the expense of absolutely everything else in your life

@TourSwingsTommy Yes. For full shots. Seamless transition between indoors and outdoors. Short game is drastically different though. Turf interaction and lie can’t be recreated. Chipping and pitching to start the year is the hardest adjustment after sim.

@Wisconsin_fam He’s a fine player. I personally liked him. I think his speed rightfully covered a lot of his weaknesses. That being said, he’s the epitome of needing to stay disciplined and the “NFL is a business.” Overpaying for guys like that is how you get in trouble.

Sometimes I miss the underdog midmajor madness. XU fans thought we would be the next Nova after getting a 1 seed. Mack knew better, so he bolted.
Fans held Steele to an unfair standard after the 1 seed. Expectations seemed to have leveled out (or even declined) for Pitino.
