A cricket pod as much for the Noel David fan as it is for a Sachin fan. Rant and rave about everything to do with World Cricket since the 90s. Read the header.

So hereโs something that just hit me hard, and that too very pleasantly. In Norway, getting groceries means driving to the โbuttikโ - sometimes in -10ยฐC weather - just to grab 1 litre of milk. Thatโs normal life in one of the most โadvancedโ countries in the world. Last night I landed back in India. Today I opened Zepto and Blinkit, linked my Amazon Pay, and ordered mangoes, shower gel, sanitiser, toothpaste, vegetables, fruits, milk, and a bunch of other essentials - 12 items in total. I tried this on both apps delivered everything to my apartment in less than 9 minutes. ๐ 12 items. Under 9 minutes. To my door. I sat there and just laughed, honestly. Because we Indians complain about India all the time - the traffic, the chaos, the noise. But we donโt realize what we already have until we leave and come back. No one in the โdevelopedโ world has this. Not Norway, not anywhere Iโve been. This kind of convenience, this kind of hustle, this kind of โI want it now and Iโll have it now" - thatโs India. ๐ So to every Indian who keeps comparing us down - go drive in the snow for milk first. Then tell me we donโt have it good. ๐ฎ๐ณ๐งก

#WATCH | Paris: Addressing the Indian community, PM Modi says, "There is another thing that connects India and France: football. Football fever is at its peak right now. Its passion is visible everywhere in France. But the craze for football is at its peak in India too. The French team, in particular, has a huge fan following in India. France has started this World Cup with a resounding victory. I wish the French team all the best." (Source: ANI/DD)

A fake Gavaskar account responding to a fake Sooryavanshi handle. Why Indian fans create fake quotes in the name of cricketers, or worse fake accounts will remain one of the unsolved mysteries of the universe.

Thread: Something cricket fans, mostly Indian fans never understand is that there are ticket allocations in football for every fanbase. This allows for matches to have presence of both sets of supporters, especially when populations are lop-sided, say NZ v India.
