Grateful to all who made today’s Northeast Ohio Youth Summit a success! Over 150 students and teachers from a dozen schools representing 5 counties engaged with incredible non-profit organizations to build a culture of service and leadership locally and globally.

The 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance was created by 9/11 families to commemorate how people responded to the tragedy with kindness, love, and service to others. On this day we are challenged to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

As we approach the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, students from PSL collaborated with American Legion Post #697 to remove tattered flags from the graves of more than 1,000 veterans who are buried at Perry Cemetery.

Last week, our SADD students put together a breakfast in honor of our local veterans! #hometownpride

Make sure to stop by the Fall Festival and say hello to the 80+ PSL and PHS volunteers who will be helping in the kids’ zone, with face painting, on the hay ride, and more!

Our PSL students kicked off their 9/11 Day of Service Activities by conducting a beach cleanup, deploying recycling bins across campus, and harvesting 121 lbs. of vegetables from the Giving Garden for the Perry Center. Thanks to the students and adult volunteers who pitched in.

The PSL Class of 2025 is off to an incredible start! From diving into behavior styles with Dr. Jessie Baginski to creating stellar resumes for Interview Day, these servant leaders are gearing up to make a real impact both locally and globally.

Thank you @YouthService and @AmeriCorps for your generous support! PSL is honored to receive a 2024 We Serve to Remember 9/11 Day Grant, which will be used to support service activities with the American Legion, Perry Fall Festival, and more.

Thanks to the Partners in Science Excellence Greenhouse Initiative Grant and their partner, Jeff Kenyon of Arcadia Glasshouse, a greenhouse has been installed in our MS courtyard where students will study life cycles, pollination, solar energy, & more! #worldclassopportunities
