A Wolverine Family shout out to our former campus police officer Cecilia Castillo--today we celebrate with her as she graduates as a Texas DPS Trooper!

Congratulations to junior Desiree Hernandez! Desiree has been awarded a $10,000 academic scholarship by Horatio Alger Association. This scholarship is one of the only academic scholarships open and awarded to juniors before they start their senior year.

In front of friends, family, and peers, senior Valerie Serrano was surprised with a full-ride scholarship and stipend from Texas Woman's University! Principal Dr. Raquel Garcia also presented the scholar with a Wolverine Pin in celebration and honor of her academic success.

The Class of 2025 has earned a record breaking $47.3 million in scholarships! Donors recognized their recipients at last night's Senior Awards Night, celebrating seniors as they prepare to embark on their post secondary academic journey. Full album on our Facebook page.

Madison Cano will continue cheerleading at the collegiate level! Congratulations to Madison for signing to cheer for the UTRGV Vaqueros. Principal Dr. Raquel Garcia also presented her with a key to the school and Wolverine Way Pin for her contributions to Wolverine Country!

Safe travels to Marcela Rocha. She will travel to Austin as a UIL State Barbara Jordan Essay finalist! Marcela's essay about Jovita Idar's fight for civil rights is one of 12 UIL 5/6A state finalists. Her essay will also be archived at the University of Texas library!

Senior Giselle Juarez will continue to cheer at the collegiate level! Congratulations to Giselle for signing to cheer for the St. Edwards University Hilltoppers! Principal Dr. Raquel Garcia also presented her with a Wolverine Way Pin for her contributions to Wolverine Country!

Senior Jaylynn Rubio was awarded a $50,000 scholarship to the American Musical & Dramatic Academy last night at the annual Palm Awards to pursue her dreams in the performing arts!
