Announcement: Pacific Grove schools are under no immediate threat or danger; however due to an active school-based incident in Monterey, parents are asked to pick up their kids from public PG schools. All after school activities have been cancelled, per PGUSD.

PGPD received a report of a susp person near Starbucks on David Ave at approx. 12:30PM on 12/8/22. Schools were placed on brief lockdown as a precaution. The suspect was taken into custody @ approx. 12:37PM w/out incident in the area of Ransford & Syida. Lockdown has been lifted.
