That’s the whole angle here. Gordon cleared this number in a game where he essentially lost a full quarter to foul trouble. He went for 56 on Christmas Day in 53 minutes of OT basketball, but even without that outlier, he hit 25+ in every regular season meeting and has carved up Gobert and this Minnesota defense for years. His season average is 27.7 PPG, meaning the market line is below his overall average and roughly 8 points below his 2025-26 vs-Minnesota average. I do think we’re getting a slightly discounted line because of his Game 1. Jokic had 25 in Game 1 in 40 minutes, one of his “quietest” scoring outputs against the Wolves this season, and notably he had just 6 points at halftime. Against the Magic this season, Cade has averaged 32.7 PPG and 8.3 RPG in those 3 games, a combined 41.0 P+R average, which clears 31.5 comfortably. We're getting a discounted line because of the uncertainty with his minutes but I don't see why he wouldn't play at or above his 33.9 MPG season average.
