We conducted a content analysis (enriched w/ video metadata) among YouTubers who had been named by 🇩🇪 & 🇧🇪 youth in quota-based surveys as SMIs who at least occasionally talk about political topics. The content analytical procedure followed several steps, depicted below 👇🏻

4) Moreover, our study revealed a significant indirect effect of corrections on efficacy beliefs to mitigate climate change (EBMCC) through reduced misperceptions. This is a first hint that corrections can contribute to fostering beliefs in effective climate action.
