@GrahamSmith_ Interesting points - I need to think about them. Democratic principles in charities rather than strictly pressure groups are somewhat unusual are they not? In terms of involvement, I think we're now in a position when the community needs to rally in numerous, creative ways.

@PatrickStrud It would perhaps help if it was a democratic organisation, so the community feels properly engaged with it. But agree it needs saving and for all the reasons you set out. I’m unclear how those not already involved can help do that.
