Withdrew a lil 6% on this one to touch some grass. My first payout from a prop firm btw after several losses. It was never easy but I thank God regardless. Consistency >> Greater Heights by God's grace

If your only metric for success is your P&L, you are already losing. The market does not care about your financial goals. It only cares about your execution. You can follow your plan perfectly... and have a losing day. You can abandon your rules.. and have a winning one Focusing on the P&L outcome distorts your reality. It encourages you to ignore bad habits when they happen to make money and over-analyze good trades that lose. Stop tracking dollars and start tracking execution quality. Did you enter when you were supposed to? Did you cut your loss at your pre-defined level? Did you follow your sizing rules? The P&L is a lagging indicator of your process. If your process is clean, the results will follow. If your process is broken, no amount of profit will save your career long-term. Measure your improvement by your ability to follow your own system... not by the green on your dashboard.

@nixtrades Transparency leads to consistency and growth as a trader and a human in general. Losses will happen but it's how you respond and overcome - clearly a step in the positive direction here!

I wanna be transparent with my community I had a rough Sunday (personal life shit) I can either sit and be sad or take this as a wake up call and move on and channel this into other avenues of life. It’s like taking a loss in trading it’s all about how you respond next. 🏆

Consistency is not a rule you follow. It is a muscle you build. Most traders treat consistency like a hurdle they have to jump over to get to the payout. They think if they just follow the rules for X number of days, they have met the goal. That is not how it works. Consistency is about being the same trader on your best day and your worst day. It is the ability to show up, execute your edge, and walk away when the data says there is nothing left. If you are only consistent because a firm forces you to be, you are not a consistent trader. You are just a trader on a leash. Build the skill, and the payouts will take care of themselves.

@robertfutures The consistency rule is feedback, not a target. If you're adjusting your trades to fit the % instead of letting the % reveal where you're inconsistent, you've already lost the plot.

Stop managing your consistency % instead of your trades—that's backwards. I found 2 prop firms with NO consistency rule once you're funded, and another that you can "turn into" no consistency if you select the right things... But there's a huge catch involving daily loss limits and evaluation hurdles you NEED to know.
