🛑 The Lucy Connolly case shames Britain. Jailing a young mother for literally years over a silly Tweet that she quickly regretted and deleted is grotesque. Under @Keir_Starmer the UK has political prisoners.

@AndreaAndreamax @rd2kimbolton @IsabelOakeshott @Keir_Starmer …never have pleaded guilty to that “crime” as saying “I don’t care” if something happens should NEVER be against the law, the fact that it now is, means that there’s going to be a time when this can bite anyone, and allowing it sets a dangerous precedent. Still, do you care? 🤷‍♂️

Read all that the “sausage roll” person did, it was far more than that and I’ve shared it. The person who made a post that breached speech laws, would have been told to plead guilty to get 1/3rd off the sentence, I would… 1/

That’s the clear and unarguable difference! I think it’s a disgrace that she’s been sentenced because she said she didn’t care, wait until you make a mistake!

@Shelltop8 @UxbEconomist07 I don’t blame you, I support your choice to do something new! The main 2 parties have shown us they don’t care about the nation, they just expect to get votes, well, time for change.

Whilst I’ve not told anyone where I will be voting in 2029 & Remain completely open to any right wing party. Most Brexit right wing activist’s in the Tories have taken one look at the shape of the remaining Conservatives & are just thinking no! The One Nation has done for them!

@UxbEconomist07 …voting for the same 2 parties for the last 100 years and expecting any meaningful changes to happen. The nation appears fed up, so they’ll vote for change. Whether that change becomes good, bad or achieves nothing, it will break the cycle of insanity! That’s the “why”.

I’ve repeatedly asked those on the left to stand with us and say this is wrong, and should it be needed I’ll stand with them! Why won’t the left help now, when the precedent is established, we all suffer!
