I don't really care what you call it, Off the Grid is an awesome gaming using an Avalanche L1 to enable trading of in game items. When mainnet launches they can sell those tokens. Good use of the tech 🔺. This weekend they hit a new daily high in active addresses for the year at 597k.

I've seen some debating about whether @playoffthegrid is truly a web3 game or not I think it's quite simple, to be honest. If the game uses blockchain, it's a web3 game But to go a bit deeper is important. Skins trading is the most obvious path to blockchain mass adoption, and it's not even close There are other great game genres like OCH, Cambria, etc, with a much more "obvious" use of web3 tech, but that automatically limits the user base, and that's ok because they are purposefully niche For the hardcore, by the hardcore OTG is different. It's a game everybody can play with 0 friction and 0 knowledge of the tech behind it I always say that in the long term, the term Web3 gaming will become gaming, full stop. The lines between both worlds will blur out, and users will experience seamless onboarding The stats don't lie. #1 chain by tx count Pulsar is also a similar type of blockchain use case, and is at close to 2M tx This is gaming for everyone, and it's on Avalanche 🔺
