On the second day of POINT 13, a panel brought together researchers and journalists to examine how disinformation is created, distributed, and monetized in the Western Balkans and across Europe.

From bots on TikTok to AI-generated propaganda series targeting political opponents, panelists explored the growing impact of artificial intelligence on elections and public trust.

Moderated by Tijana Cvjetičanin from CA “Why not”, the session gathered Victoire Rio, a tech accountability advocate, and Tajana Broz from Faktograf, who shared examples of AI’s use in recent political campaigns.

Panel "Documenting Russian War Crimes in Ukraine: An Introduction to The Reckoning Project" opened a conversation about the importance of preserving evidence and truth in the face of ongoing war and disinformation.

In cooperation with the Unlock Festival and the Prague Civil Society Center, the panel brought together speakers from Moldova, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Ukraine, moderated by Iryna Domnenko, journalist and host of the Rakamakafo podcast.
