Why I started this X account. This page is not about making X funds (though that would be nice). It’s about sharing how I understand politics. Because honestly, the problems we face in Nigeria are part of a global pattern. The US isn’t a “superpower” because it’s inherently good/noble or smart. It’s a superpower because it has, time and again, exploited resources and lives around the world to feed its own agenda. Iran resists and that is why it faces sanctions. If you’ve believed the bullshit from the US government that Iran is the largest sponsor of state terrorism in the world, then you should pay attention to my X posts. Because you’ve been deceived like I once was. Nigeria had no military bases about 3 months ago. And guess what they did? They pushed the Christian genocide agenda and now they have bases. When was the last time you heard about Christian genocide from the mouths of American politicians? Venezuela and Iraq? Their resources were plundered. Ghaddafi? He wasn’t killed for being “bad”. He was killed because he dared to push for an African currency, a move that would shake the global system, sending the USA’s economy into a nose dive. The US government would rather drop a nuke on Africa before allowing that to happen. In many ways, we are a great people living among bad actors. I believe Nigeria can be great, but it starts with electing leaders who see beyond their own pockets. Politics is messy. But understanding it is the first step to changing it. That’s why this page exists.

Election season is coming, and suddenly governors are back on the streets buying boli from market women. The same people and places that were ignored for years now have cameras, smiles, and attention. It’s a familiar pattern that shows up every election cycle. Change should be constant, but in nigeria politics, change is always an afterthought.

That question itself is off. Because the honest truth is most politicians don’t get there by being “good.” They get there by making deals, promising different things to different people, and compromising along the way. That’s the game. You can’t win elections without owing people. It’s impossible. So it’s not really about good politicians. It’s about who has policies that can actually work, despite the system they had to survive to get there. So the question in it self is wrong. There are no good politicians but they are politicians with good policies.

This video of VeryDarkMan in Jos is making the rounds, where he tells residents to arm themselves in response to recent attacks. Think about that for a second. Citizens are now being encouraged to defend themselves. Security is the most basic responsibility of government. If people now have to protect themselves, then what exactly are we paying taxes for? What does it mean to have a Commander-in-Chief like Bola Ahmed Tinubu if citizens feel left on their own? This is not just about one video, It’s about what it represents. A system where people no longer feel protected. A country where survival is becoming individual, not collective. That’s dangerous to say the least. It also raises an uncomfortable question. When Donald Trump used harsh words to describe Nigeria, many Nigerians pushed back. But moments like this make it harder to dismiss those criticisms outright. Because when citizens are told to defend themselves, it makes phrases like ‘A failed nation’ sounds more realistic. What exactly are we becoming?

Let’s be honest, no one is being forced to donate. It’s a personal choice. But at the same time, accountability matters, and in my opinion, Sir Dickson has made efforts to be transparent so far. I also see people asking why Baddy isn’t using his X payouts, but recovery isn’t cheap. Post-surgery care, follow-ups, medications, those bills add up quickly, and not every battle is visible online. I think what we’re really seeing is a reflection of a bigger issue, Nigerians are frustrated with the lack of accountability from leadership, and that energy is spilling over here. The concern is valid, but this might not be the right target. If you can support, please do. If you can’t, that’s perfectly fine too, but let’s keep the conversation fair and humane.

So after years of poor electricity supply, constant grid collapses, and Nigerians being told to “manage” darkness, the same Minister now wants to be governor? As Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu presided over a system where tariffs kept rising but supply remained unstable, and even government officials publicly admitted how bad things were. Businesses shut down, households spent more on fuel, and nothing fundamentally improved. That’s the record. Now he’s stepping down to pursue a governorship in Oyo State, but the real question is: after failing at a national level, why should he be rewarded with state leadership? Leadership should be about results, not recycling the same people from one position to another while citizens keep paying the price.

Approved in just three and a half hours? $6bn added to Nigeria’s debt with that kind of speed and Approved in just three and a half hours? $6bn added to Nigeria’s debt with that kind of speed no serious scrutiny and no real public conversation. This is exactly why people don’t trust the system. Decisions that will affect generations are treated like routine paperwork, while Nigerians are left to deal with the consequences. Rushing approvals like this only reinforces the fear that accountability is missing and the burden will once again fall on ordinary citizens.

This kind of total dominance at the state level strengthens APC’s ground game, control of local structures, mobilization, and influence over elections. It also shows how weak and fragmented the opposition still is. Honestly, If this trend continues across states, APC goes into 2027 with a massive structural advantage, and defeating them becomes less about popularity and more about whether the opposition can even stay intact long enough to compete. It’s not looking good for ADC.
