Five years ago, I left Nigeria with two suitcases and a lot of uncertainty. Today… I’m packing again. Over the weekend, I had the privilege of meeting with Wajid Minhas, the Global Recruitment & Marketing Manager at the University of Gloucestershire, UK 🇬🇧. After weeks of engagement and knowledge sharing, it was really lovely to finally get to sit down with Wajid and share insights into the recruitment landscape in Nigeria, and Africa - in broader terms. Hearing him commend me and my team for the incredible work that we do at @tine_africa was such a delight. I particularly loved how our conversation moved beyond how @laprinxoconsult can support the university's marketing and recruitment endeavours in the region, but also to the psycho-social factors that contribute to student choices, how AI and technology can be leveraged in advancing international education, as well as mastering student diversification in recruitment.
