you deserve help, no matter what your circumstances are. it doesn't matter that you don't "have it the worst." if you are having mental health issues, you deserve healing. never let anyone tell you that you aren't deserving of love and support.

i created this organization as a 15-year-old with untreated mental illness who felt incredibly alone. i'm now a 25-year-old who's been in therapy for 2 1/2 years and takes medication to help manage my diagnoses. for the first time in over a decade, i finally feel better.

happy 9th birthday to buddy project!!!! i remember exactly how i felt when i was 15/16 and will never forget. i was someone who wanted to help others not experience the same trauma i endured. i minimized my own mental health problems because i didn’t have it “bad enough.”

9 years exactly ❤️
