Because of Tim Sweeney: - The Fortnite Metaverse was rushed and resources were stripped from the storyline & events - Donald Mustard retired from Epic Games - 1,000+ Epic Employees were laid off in September 2023 - Fortnite's story suffered greatly from the lack of resources - Billions of dollars were spent fighting Apple & Google and Tim joked about it causing financial problems in the future - UEFN creators were, for no good reason, paid almost $800 million dollars in the past year - On March 19th, V-Bucks prices were increased and the amount we received was reduced - 1,000+ more Epic Employees were just laid off today Every time we even reach a potential high for this game & things look good for everyone, Tim Sweeney manages to bring it all down. He is the ROOT of all the problems with Fortnite & Epic Games in recent years. ALL OF THIS happened because he thought Fortnite can be just like Roblox and it took him FOUR YEARS to realize that it can't be. And only after he had done SO MUCH damage to both this game & the company. I genuinely cannot believe how someone can be so stupid. Again, I am so heartbroken for all the employees who were laid off today. Not a single one of them deserved this. They put so much love & care into this game only to then be laid off. I truly wish them the best moving forward. Try and support them as much as possible, along with the employees who weren't laid off either. It's taking a toll on all of them.

We are actually going to watch one of the most innovative & impactful games of the 2010s go under because the owners thought that “steal the brainrot” and “red vs blue zone wars” was going to pay the bills

@TakashiMonsoon That's exactly what I am talking about- Like no, sorry, I fail to see how Yang is even remotely a bad sister to Ruby and I ESPECIALLY can't see how it is somehow an entirely unrelated ship's fault. The reaching required for that to make sense is crazy.

Something I have noticed a lot in online discourse is that when people grow to despise a character or dynamic, they really do just make every single aspect of the show about that character they hate to the point where they just hate the show itself.

But I also remember this being a TERRIBLE thing in the RWBY community with Bumblebee haters. The ship starts being hinted and teased and all of the sudden Bumblebee haters crawl out of the woodwork to start blaming every aspect of the show they don't like on that damn ship.

Like Jax is the current example of course. You can't talk about or discuss TADC without a Jax hater coming out of the woodwork to somehow make it about Jax and use it as a springboard to bitch about him
