The familiar sight of the city below from his cockpit was always something that gave the pilot mixed feelings. To see everyone out on the streets reminds him why he fights and that life is good, but needing to operate a machine like his always meant trouble...

The pilot caught the can, looking it over a little before popping the tab and taking a few swings. Immediately he could feel the unexpectedly motivating effect. If not for his trainings, it would have been disorienting. A laugh left him and he shook his head. "You seriously-

-that too." He chuckled a bit and took a fresh sip from his flask before returning it to his jacket. "Or we can make a bet. See who can kill the most or who can get the Intel checked in first..."

He held up one arm, showing the steel bangle around his wrist. "Well, if you want to make the fight more fun, I managed to sneak my mech's call bracelet. Might be fun to drop our own machine into the fray... Or we could find a quiet spot and chat.... Cockpit is pretty good for-

"Can't say I have... But toss one over anyway. No harm trying something new." The pilot answered as he set his flask back in his belt. Retrieving a rag and cleaning some oil from his fingers. Then wiping some sweat from his forehead. "Damn, working harder than I thought..."

"Aw, c'mon. I can promise with units like me on the field, we can make things real interesting." The pilot laughed as be plopped himself into the seat across from her. Sipping from his flask a bit. "Course, if it is boring, I'm sure we can find a way to shake things up."

"Approaching the AO... Allied ground units be advised, incoming heavy support..." Kaleb's voice sparked over the radio as his suit's verniers ignited, carrying him across the sky towards the combat riddled city. "Request support as needed, Mauler available for reinforcement."
