I'm sure they mean well but recently it's been bothering me more when I see people from other parts of the esports industry blindly pointing to and speaking on collegiate as the answer to some of these larger problems and trends. Scholastic esports is an entirely different and complex beast that often operates/prioritizes things completely contrary to pro esports. There's great opportunities to work together and build bridges, but please take the time to educate yourself on our space before making blind statements and claims like we're a monolith.
