The Malachite team has just shown off their new SDR receiver, the R1. Details are still pretty thin on the ground right now. From what you can see: 50-ohm input, unbalanced input and it's got a USB-C connector. Stay tuned!

@FMDXIreland Paul, are you using an external frequency reference with the Perseus SDR?

This is right at dawn here this morning - the two Scottish transmitters on channel had dawn 10 - 15 mins earlier and are still getting walloped by solar conditions - revealing a sung and vocal ID of 810 Radio Paz in Puerto Rico.

Logged Scandinavian Weekend Radio on 6070 kHz yesterday (Saturday, March 7) during their monthly broadcast.Reception from a quiet forest location using a BELKA receiver. Nice signal considering the distance — always fun to catch SWR when they’re on the air only once a month.
