Cheeky Chough 💕 Visitors to our café were blessed with a close up from one of our Chough who stopped by for a snack of their own. Perhaps they had heard about Lyn's famous 'bara brith' and wanted to pop by....

🔎 Mothing to See Here 🔎 This Sunday, we will be opening our Moth Trap to see who has paid a visit. This is one of the lovely species that paid us a visit last time. The Silver Y moth migrates to the UK in massive numbers each year. events.rspb.org.uk/events/83105

Y penwythnos diwethaf gwelwyd tywydd amrywiol ond, wrth lwc, roedd ymwelwyr yn RSPB Ynys Lawd yn gallu gweld 'cetacean' yn pasio heibio! Dros y penwythnos, gwelsom tua 15 Dolffin Cyffredin a 6 Risso's. Gwelwyd morloi a llamhidyddion hefyd! Dewch draw a throwch eich sylw at y môr

Last weekend saw some variable weather but luckily, visitors at RSPB South Stack were able to spot a few cetaceans passing by! Over the weekend, we saw about 15 Common Dolphins and 6 Risso's. Seals and porpoise were also spotted! Come over and turn your gaze to the sea.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with the ragwort pulling on site. Here at RSPB SouthStack, the team work hard to protect as many species as possible. The team move the ragwort to spaces that the livestock won't get to it - ensuring caterpillars like this one will survive.
