@WSJ Trump is not a Republican to the extent that Republican means conservative principles driving limited government; he’s a MAGA. MAGAs are whatever Trump says they are today but not necessarily tomorrow.
@washingtonpost Yes! & pulling out of Afghan on Trump45’s schedule implying it was somehow binding was an historical blunder. His motivation-take the $billions being spent in Afghan to fund Build Back Better, phase 1 of the Green New Deal. A F’up leading to Trump 47. Biden46👎😩.
In an interview with New Yorker editor David Remnick, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that President Biden made “a terrible mistake” by running for reelection in 2024. Read more: wapo.st/4uFSXha
@islantstudio There are deep red states where MAGA prevails regardless; MA is a deep blue state regardless. Facts, truth, accomplishments don’t matter. MA is under the influence of delusional activists.
Anyone else in Massachusetts confused when you see these numbers from a recent poll?
New poll numbers dropped from Suffolk University and the Boston Globe, and they’re pretty interesting:
- More than half of voters couldn’t name even one signature achievement from Governor Healey’s first term.
- 56% said they’ve considered leaving the state because of high costs.
- 69% oppose the administration’s congestion pricing plan.
- 66% support cutting the state income tax from 5% down to 4%.
Despite all that, Healey still leads both of her potential Republican challengers by 25+ points.
Curious to hear what you all think about these numbers this morning. Does any of this surprise you, or does it line up with what you’re seeing and feeling out there?
@SenWhitehouse He continues with his anti-fossil fuel tirades & he’s at since for 2 decades. The results, 2 Trump presidencies & a disastrous Biden presidency. His next catastrophic- reckless accomplishment will be GOP48. Energy big in 2028 & his rants ensures defeat in battlegrounds states.
@SenWhitehouse So sad: this Forever Senator is such a Forever Failure. His war on Coal (2016), then extending the war to natural gas (2019) via the GND resolution elected Trump 2x. Posterity will excoriate the Forever Failed RI Senator as a reckless Trump asset. 2028 looms as a capstone F’up!
Massachusetts Democrat Senator Ed Markey @SenMarkey squirmed and made excuses when @LoomerUnleashed@TheCharlesDowns asked him whether Senate Democrats @SenateDems would trust Graham Platner @grahamformaine to use the restroom unsupervised in the Senate building given his record of public masturbation on the toilet, by his own admission.
It’s pathetic how Democrats support someone with such a vile history that this question even needs to be asked.
The Senate Dems are a literal circus.
@SenWhitehouse Trump Con is continuous, consistent & out in the open. The political recklessness electing Trump 2x, as practiced by you & da pathetic Ed
Markey. exploits da naive. Instead of a climate solution, ur forever recklessness, is on track for electing a GOP48. “ Da Forever Reckless”
“Keep in mind Trump has been saying the war could be over soon at nearly every stage of the conflict, which began more than 100 days ago.”

@MassFiscal Healy, part of an activist movement pushing renewables not as part of “All of Above” but at as politics meant to kill natural gas. The result reliance on oil in the winter & very high electricity prices. The doubling down on renewables is not a thought out plan it’s politics.
Controlling energy costs and forcing a rapid shift to intermittent alternative energy sources are not compatible goals.
Governor Maura Healey is doubling down on them anyway.
“I’m not backing down,” she says, while pushing for more executive orders to lock in Massachusetts’ energy mix for the next 10 years.
Solar. Wind. Geothermal. Battery storage. Demand response. All dictated from the top.
Massachusetts residents are already paying some of the highest electricity prices in the country. Instead of reassessing what’s driving those costs, the response is more mandates, more targets, and more political stubbornness.
This isn’t flexibility and this is not listening to people's needs.
It’s doubling down on a strategy that’s already making energy less affordable.
Fossil fuel is heating our oceans by the zettajoule, so Trump’s corrupt fossil fuel stooges want to turn off the monitors. Oil Capone.

@EdMarkey Too bad your climate politics, advocating for 0 probability outcomes that have & continue to deliver the battleground states to the GOP, is reckless. Said recklessness led to Trump 2x (45-47). You are on track to deliver GOP48. You are a GOP asset.
I don’t trade stocks.
I don’t take corporate PAC donations.
I don’t take money from fossil fuel companies.
I don’t treat public office as a personal self enrichment fund.
And I will NEVER sacrifice trans kids to win political points.
@SenWhitehouse Tis not that he won’t stop talking about Climate Change; it’s that his rants & raves are reckless. Twas reckless to try and kill coal in 2016 (war on coal), it led to Trump 45. Twas reckless to extend the war on coal to include natural gas in Biden46, it contributed to Trump47.
US Senator Ed Markey secured an overwhelming endorsement for re-election at the MassDems convention, cementing his role as a frontrunner against his primary challenger, Representative Seth Moulton, in the state party’s marquee race. bostonglobe.com/2026/05/30/met… w/@anjalihuynh#mapoli
What posterity will show is that O44 was a disappointment to some & a failure for others. Otherwise we would never have seen Trump45, a failed Biden46 & Trump 47.
Yes, WTF!
@bostonherald Biden46 was a failed presidency, starting with a disastrous Afghanistan exit. Jill’s attempt to clear Joe’s name will be in vane, a plus for the GOP in 2026 & 2028.
Battenfeld | Jill Biden could be unwanted baggage for Democrats looking to rebound from their disastrous 2024 loss but she still wants a role in the party and is determined to clear her husband’s name. bostonherald.com/2026/05/30/bat…
On my way to Worcester for the @MassDems State Convention. Excited to come together with all of these incredible activists and organizers. See you soon Massachusetts Democrats!
